Luise Reddemann

Luise Reddemann is a specialist in neurology and psychotherapeutic medicine, as well as a psychoanalyst and training analyst. From 1985 to 2003, she headed the Department of Psychotherapy and Psychosomatic Medicine at the Evangelisches Johannes-Krankenhaus in Bielefeld, where she developed Psychodynamic Imaginative Trauma Therapy (PITT) for the treatment of complex trauma-related disorders. Reddemann was an honorary professor of psychotraumatology and medical psychology at the University of Klagenfurt. Her professional work focused particularly on trauma, trauma-related disorders, resilience, and the consequences of collective traumatization.
