Ursula Assaf-Nowak

Ursula Assaf-Nowak holds a doctorate in Oriental studies and is also a Romance studies and German studies scholar. She translated the complete works of the Lebanese-American poet and artist Kahlil Gibran, as well as his correspondence, from Arabic into German. She also edited numerous anthologies of Gibran’s work.
