Ulrike Ottinger (born 1942 in Konstanz) is known as a filmmaker and photographer. Her films were shown at international festivals and honored, among other venues, at the Centre Pompidou in Paris, the Museo Reina Sofía in Madrid, and the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York. Her photography was presented at documenta and the Venice Biennale.
