Ulrike Grote

Ulrike Grote, born in Bremen in 1963, is a German actress, director, and audiobook narrator. She performed, among other places, with the ensembles of the Deutsches Schauspielhaus in Hamburg and the Burgtheater in Vienna, and also worked at Schauspielhaus Zürich. She became known for numerous roles in film and television, including appearances in “Tatort” and the crime series “Inspektor Rolle.” As a director, she worked on the feature comedy “Die Kirche bleibt im Dorf,” among other projects. In 2010, she received the Hörkulino audience award for her reading of “Breaking Dawn,” the German audiobook edition of “Bis(s) zum Ende der Nacht.”
