Gaby Hauptmann

Gaby Hauptmann was born in Trossingen in 1957. She initially worked as a journalist before becoming known as an author. Her first bestseller, »Suche impotenten Mann fürs Leben«, reached a large readership in 1995. Her other novels include »Nur ein toter Mann ist ein guter Mann«, »Fünf-Sterne-Kerle inklusive« and »Unsere allerbeste Zeit«. She has also published collections of short stories as well as books for children and young adults. Her works have been translated into numerous languages and adapted for television.
