Ulrich Wendel (born 1964) holds a doctorate in theology and is a New Testament scholar. He has worked as a church pastor, as a lecturer in New Testament at Evangelische Hochschule Tabor, and as a program director for Bible and theology at R. Brockhaus and SCM R. Brockhaus. He has also served as an editor and editor-in-chief of the magazines Faszination Bibel and sela. Das Gebetsmagazin. Wendel is the author and editor of several books on prayer, biblical understanding, and biblical interpretation.
