Ulla Fix

Ulla Fix is professor emerita of contemporary German at Leipzig University. Her research areas include text linguistics, stylistics and semiotics, as well as the relationship between linguistics and literary studies. Further fields of her scholarly work include language culture, language in politics with a focus on the GDR, language and religion, the history of science, and intellectual styles in linguistics.
