Ulf Schiewe

Ulf Schiewe (1947–2023) initially worked as a software developer and later held senior marketing positions at international software companies. In the course of his career, he lived and worked in countries including Switzerland, France, Brazil, Belgium and Sweden. He began writing in his late fifties. His first novel was *Der Bastard von Tolosa*, followed by a series of historical adventure novels. Schiewe died in spring 2023 after a short, serious illness.
