Nicholas Thomas Wright (born 1948), known as N. T. or Tom Wright, is a British theologian, New Testament scholar and author. From 2003 to 2010, he served as Bishop of Durham in England. Wright has written more than 80 books on the New Testament, early Christianity and the historical Jesus; alongside scholarly works, he has also published popular titles translated into numerous languages. He is married and has four adult children.
