Tobias Faix

Tobias Faix (born 1969) is a theologian, author and professor of practical theology. He studied theology in Germany, the United States and South Africa, and worked as a pastor in the Black Forest. At the CVJM University in Kassel, he taught practical theology, served as rector, and led the empirica research institute for youth, culture and religion as well as the master’s program in Transformational Studies. He has also been involved in church bodies of the EKKW and the EKD. As an author, he has published books on youth, church, society and vocation. Before pursuing his theological career, he worked, among other things, as a chimney sweep.
