Thomas Ziegler

Thomas Ziegler was the pen name of German science-fiction and crime writer, translator, and screenwriter Rainer Friedhelm Zubeil (1956–2004). He made his debut in 1977 under the pen name Henry Quinn with the Dämonenkiller novel “Eisvampire.” His best-known works include “Die Stimmen der Nacht,” for which he received the Kurd-Laßwitz Award twice, the science-fiction series “Flaming Bess,” and the unfinished fantasy series “Sardor.” As a translator, Zubeil primarily worked on science-fiction novels as well as reference works and nonfiction books about “Star Wars.”
