Thomas Winkler

Thomas Winkler, born in 1972, studied mathematics, physics and computer science. He worked as a teacher and wrote for the satirical magazine Titanic and Die Welt-Online, as well as screenplays, including for the youth film Inge tanzt. He also wrote novels and prose for children, including Luis und Lena. Another focus of his work is the Japanese language and culture: he developed a Japanese textbook from notes taken during his own self-study.
