Daniel Stieglitz was born in Cham in 1980 and studied visual communication, focusing on film, animation and illustration, at the University of Art and Design Kassel. He worked as an author, director and illustrator, as well as a storyboard artist for commercials and feature films. His work also included producing television animations, illustrating books and drawing caricatures. In 2008, he created the storyboards for Uli Edel’s Oscar-nominated film *The Baader Meinhof Complex*. In 2018, he became the first German caricaturist to win the Golden Nosey at the ISCA Convention in San Diego.
