Thomas Meyer

Thomas Meyer (born 1974 in Zurich) worked as a copywriter in advertising agencies and as a reporter after abandoning his law studies, before becoming a freelance writer in 2012. He became known for his debut novel, »Wolkenbruchs wunderliche Reise in die Arme einer Schickse«, which was nominated for the Swiss Book Prize and later adapted into a film for which Meyer wrote the screenplay. His other publications include »Rechnung über meine Dukaten«, the collection of aphorisms »Wäre die Einsamkeit nicht so lehrreich, könnte man glatt daran verzweifeln.« and the nonfiction book »Trennt Euch!«.
