Thomas Kraft, born in Bamberg in 1959, is a writer, literary critic and cultural manager. He studied German literature and worked as a secondary-school teacher, a programme director at a literary house and a publishing company, as well as a curator and organiser of literary events. Kraft has published biographies, travel books, anthologies, poetry collections and short stories, including “Jakob Wassermann” (2008), “Alles Tarnung” (2013) and “Cohen – eine Hommage” (2014). He also edited the “Lexikon der deutschsprachigen Gegenwartsliteratur”, a lexicon of contemporary German-language literature.
