Thomas Junker

Thomas Junker studied pharmacy at the University of Freiburg and earned a doctorate in the history of science at the University of Marburg. From 1992 to 1995, he worked with the Charles Darwin Correspondence Project in Cambridge and as a postdoctoral researcher with Ernst Mayr at Harvard University. He subsequently conducted research and taught the history and theory of biology at the University of Tübingen, where he completed his habilitation in 2003. His academic appointments also included a visiting professorship at the University of Göttingen and an adjunct professorship at the University of Tübingen from 2006. He has published books and articles on the history and theory of evolutionary biology and anthropology.
