Thomas Hirsch

Thomas Hirsch studied in Heidelberg and Cologne and earned a doctorate in art history. He worked as a curator for the Philip Morris Arts Promotion program in Berlin and for the Lindabrunn Sculpture Symposium in Lower Austria, and served as acting director of the Städtische Galerie Rastatt. As a guest curator, he developed exhibitions at institutions including the Ludwig Múzeum in Budapest and the Kunstmuseum Mülheim an der Ruhr. From 1994, he directed exhibitions for the Herbert Weisenburger Foundation in Rastatt. His work focuses on art from the second half of the 20th century to the present.
