Thomas Hertog

Thomas Hertog, born in 1975, studied physics in Belgium and earned his doctorate at the University of Cambridge under Stephen Hawking. His professional career included positions at the University of Santa Barbara in California, Université Paris VII and CERN in Geneva. He taught theoretical physics at the University of Leuven. In 2018, he co-authored the paper “A smooth exit from eternal inflation?” with Stephen Hawking.
