Thomas Hein

Thomas Hein (born 1966) is a German snooker player, coach and author. He won the German Championship 14 times in different billiards disciplines. As national coach, he helped shape the development of snooker in Germany for many years; in 2007, the German national team won the European Team Championship for the first time. In 2005, Hein founded Germany’s first snooker academy in Oberhausen. Together with Rolf Kalb, he published his first book in 2006, drawing on his experience as a player and coach. He also further developed the PAT Snooker training and assessment concept and adapted it for use in amateur sport.
