Thomas D. Seeley

Thomas D. Seeley was a professor in the Department of Neurobiology and Behavior at Cornell University. In the 1970s, he studied at Harvard University under the behavioral biologists and ant researchers Bert Hölldobler and Edward O. Wilson. He subsequently devoted his research to the lives of bees. Seeley received several awards for his scientific work, including recognition from the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation.
