Ted Benoit

Ted Benoît (born 1948) began drawing comics in the early 1970s. His early works include “Vers la Ligne Claire,” “Histoires Vraies” and “Hospital.” Influenced by Hergé’s drawing style, he created the series “Ray Banana” in 1982. His other works included the comic “Bingo Bongo und seine Kongo-Combo” and the art book “La Peau du Leopard.” Together with writer Jean Van Hamme, Benoît revived Edgar P. Jacobs’s series “Blake and Mortimer.” Their album “The Francis Blake Affair” achieved high sales in France and Belgium.
