Tea Ranno

Tea Ranno (born 1963) is an Italian author and lawyer. She studied law and works in the fields of law and literature. Her debut novel, *Cenere*, was published in 2006; its manuscript had previously been a finalist for the Premio Calvino and the Premio Berto. The novel received the Premio Chianti. Her other works include *Agata und ihr fabelhaftes Dorf* and *Die Straßenbahn ins Leben*, for which she adapted the memories of eyewitness Emanuele Di Porto for young readers.
