Tanja Prokic

Tanja Prokic (born 1980) is a scholar of literary and media studies. She studied philosophy, modern German literature, and art history in Munich and received her doctorate in modern German literature from Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich in 2010. Her academic work has focused on intermediality, cinematic narrative openings, visual studies, and the interaction of gender and media. Further areas of interest include media and knowledge constellations in literary modernism, digital media culture, and contemporary theatre and performance. She has contributed to research on the representation and reflection of discriminatory dynamics in theatre, performance, and activist art.
