Syou Ishida

Syou Ishida began writing novels while working for a telecommunications company. Her debut novel, “Tomato Sensei,” won the grand prize of the Japan Love Story Grand Prix in 2014. Her novel “Das Glück bringt eine Katze” sold more than 70,000 copies in Japan in 2023 and was nominated for one of the country’s major literary prizes.
