Swetlana Gannushkina (born 1942) is a Russian human rights activist. She founded the NGO Civil Assistance and led the Memorial network, which operated advice centers for refugees and displaced people. In proceedings before Russian courts and the European Court of Human Rights, she opposed the forced return of migrants from Russia to Central Asian countries where they faced the threat of imprisonment and torture.
