Susanne Dahmann

Susanne Dahmann studied history, Scandinavian studies and philosophy at the universities of Kiel and Freiburg. After completing her degree, she worked in sales and editorial roles at a Stuttgart-based nonfiction publisher. From 1993 onward, she worked as a freelance translator, translating mainly fiction and nonfiction from Swedish, as well as from Danish and English. Her translations include Henrik Berggren’s books on Olof Palme and Dag Hammarskjöld, Ingrid Carlberg’s biography of Raoul Wallenberg, and Lena Einhorn’s *Nina’s Journey*.
