Kristina Ohlsson

Kristina Ohlsson (born 1979) is a Swedish author. Before becoming a writer, she worked at the Swedish Ministries for Foreign Affairs and Defence, at the Swedish national police authority in Stockholm, and as a terrorism expert at the OSCE in Vienna. Her debut novel, Aschenputtel, was published in 2009 and launched her international career as a thriller writer. Her crime fiction includes the series featuring Fredrika Bergman and Alex Recht, the Martin Benner novels, and the cosy-crime series about August Strindberg. She has also written the internationally acclaimed children’s series Glaskinder, Silberjunge and Steinengel; Glaskinder received, among other distinctions, Sweden’s August Prize.
