Susanne Beyer

Susanne Beyer (born 1969) is a German journalist and author. She worked for the magazine Der SPIEGEL from 1996, including 18 years as a culture editor and later as deputy head of its culture department. She also served for four years as deputy editor-in-chief of the news magazine. Her publications include »›Mich hat Auschwitz nie verlassen‹: Überlebende des Konzentrationslagers berichten« (2015, with Martin Doerry) and »Die Glücklichen: Warum Frauen die Mitte des Lebens so großartig finden« (2021).
