Susann Hesselbarth

Susann Hesselbarth, born in Altenburg in 1964, first trained as a bricklayer before studying book design and commercial graphics at the Academy of Visual Arts Leipzig. She illustrated school and children’s books, including “Warum heißt das so?”, “10 Minuten Dings” and “Hand in Hand die Welt begreifen”. The book “Warum heißt das so?”, which she illustrated, was named Austria’s best junior science book of the year in 2010.
