Susan Bernofsky

Susan Bernofsky was a professor of creative writing at Columbia University School of the Arts, where she also directed the literary translation program. She translated more than twenty books, including works by Thomas Mann, Franz Kafka, and Robert Walser. Her translations received numerous awards.
