Stefanie Ochel

Stefanie Ochel (born 1980) studied linguistics, English and German in Bonn. She subsequently worked as a teacher of German as a foreign language in Finland and England, including at the University of Oxford. As a literary translator, she has translated works from English and Dutch, and occasionally from French. Authors whose works she has translated include Tomi Obaro, Nina Polak, Ruth Ware, Valentijn Hoogenkamp and Lieke Marsman. She has received several scholarships for her work.
