Stefanie Ochel

Stefanie Ochel (born 1980) studied linguistics, German studies and English studies in Bonn. She subsequently taught German as a foreign language, including at the University of Oxford, and spent periods in Finland and England. As a literary translator, she translated works from English, Dutch and occasionally French into German. Authors whose works she has translated include Tomi Obaro, Nina Polak, Ruth Ware and Valentijn Hoogenkamp. She received several scholarships for her work.
