Stefan von der Lahr

Stefan von der Lahr (born 1958) holds a doctorate in ancient history. From 1992 to 2024, he worked as an editor at C.H.Beck, where he was responsible for the ancient-studies program. As a writer, he published the crime novels *Das Grab der Jungfrau*, the first case featuring the investigative duo Bariello and Montebello, and *Hochamt in Neapel*.
