Stefan Gemmel (born 1970 in Morbach) is a German author of children’s and young adult books. His works include the series “Im Zeichen der Zauberkugel” and “Lucas und der Zauberschatten,” as well as the humorous novel “Die Abenteuer eines Döner-Checkers.” He has been involved in literary projects and writing workshops for children and has received several awards for his readings and workshops, including the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany and the title “Reading Artist of the Year.” With the first volume of the “Zauberkugel” series, he also set an official reading record.
