Sophie Scholl

Sophie Scholl (1921–1943) was born in Forchtenberg, Württemberg, and studied biology and philosophy in Munich. She was a member of the resistance group known as the White Rose. In February 1943, she was arrested by the National Socialists, sentenced to death, and executed.
