Hans Scholl

Hans Scholl was a German student and co-founder of the White Rose resistance group. Together with Alexander Schmorell, he wrote the group’s first four leaflets in June and July 1942. They mailed them to selected addresses and distributed them around the University of Munich. After the group was discovered in 1943, Hans Scholl was sentenced to death.
