Sophie Kinsella

Sophie Kinsella (d. 2025) was a British author and former financial journalist. She became best known for her humorous Shopaholic novels about the chaotic bargain hunter Becky Bloomwood. The first novel, “Confessions of a Shopaholic,” was adapted into an internationally successful film starring Isla Fisher. Kinsella also wrote novels including “The Undomestic Goddess,” “Remember Me?,” and “Can You Keep a Secret?”. She published some books under the pseudonym Madeleine Wickham. With “Finding Audrey,” she also turned to young adult fiction.
