Sool Park

Sool Park, born in South Korea in 1986, studied philosophy, mathematics and comparative literature in Munich. In 2023, he became a junior professor of intercultural philosophy at the University of Hildesheim. As a translator, he has translated philosophical and literary works by authors including Wittgenstein, Nietzsche and Hölderlin into Korean. Together with Kim Hyesoon and Uljana Wolf, he received the 2025 International Literature Award of HKW Berlin for the poetry collection Autobiography of Death.
