Simon Beckett

Simon Beckett is an English thriller writer. Before establishing himself as an author, he worked as a freelance journalist and wrote for British newspapers including The Times, The Daily Telegraph and The Observer. His journalistic work focused on crime-related subjects. He is best known for his thriller series featuring forensic anthropologist David Hunter; all six novels became bestsellers and were adapted into a six-part series for Paramount+. His other works include the psychological thriller “Der Hof” and “Die Verlorenen”, the first novel in a series featuring former police officer Jonah Colley.
