Silla Tatiana Y.

Tatiana Silla was born in Trieste in 1968 and studied philosophy there. She has worked as a translator and editor, including on books by Jacques Derrida, Placide Tempels, and Wilhelm Speyer. A focus of her work is the history of gastronomy, particularly in Friuli and Trieste. Her books published by Mandelbaum include *Triestiner Kulinarium*, *Basilikum*, *Feige*, and *Salbei*. She also contributed to the Italian newspaper *Cheese Time*.
