Silke Voigt

Silke Voigt was born in Halle an der Saale in 1971. She studied graphic design for five years at the university of applied sciences in Münster, specializing in book design and illustration. She subsequently studied fine art and painting at the Münster Academy of Art, where she completed her examination in fine art. From 1996 onward, she worked as a freelance illustrator and author in the fields of children’s, school and nonfiction books, collaborating with numerous German publishers.
