Sigismund Krzyzanowski (1887–1950) was a writer of Russian modernism. Born in Kyiv, he moved to Moscow in 1922. There, he wrote extensive, highly imaginative prose under precarious conditions, but was unable to publish a book during his lifetime. His works were not published in Russia until 1989.
