Sibylle Mulot

Sibylle Mulot (1950–2022) was born in Reutlingen and died in Tübingen. She studied German and Romance languages and literature in Tübingen, Zurich, Toulouse and Rome, and earned a doctorate on Robert Musil. After training as a journalist at the Süddeutsche Zeitung, she worked as a freelance writer from 1980 onward. Her Huguenot family name sparked her early interest in France.
