Shaw Kuzki

Shaw Kuzki was born in Hiroshima in 1957. She studied at Sophia University in Japan and at Trinity College in Dublin. Kuzki was a successful author of children’s and young adult books in Japan and received numerous awards for her work. She belongs to the generation descended from survivors of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima on 6 August 1945. The White Lantern was her first book to appear in German translation.
