Sebastian Anton was born in Kyiv in 1983 and moved to Germany in 1991. After completing secondary school in Bonn, he studied acting at the Kyiv National University of Theatre, Cinema and Television. He works as a translator and is a state-certified interpreter of Ukrainian. His work has included translating dialogue for Ukrainian film and television productions, as well as commissioned plays for theatres including the Schaubühne in Berlin, the Munich Kammerspiele, the National Theatre Mannheim and Schauspielhaus Zürich.
