Savas Coban, born in Bremen in 1992, became known as an extreme athlete and adventurer. The son of Turkish immigrants, he trained as a fitness business administrator and personal trainer. His early long-distance projects included a 3,200-kilometre cycling journey from Hamburg to Seville in 2020 and a 2,246-kilometre run from Munich to Istanbul in 2021. He also gained recognition for running approximately 5,170 kilometres across Peru in 87 days. This project was documented in the 2023 book “Trail der Träume” and a documentary of the same title released in 2024.
