Carsten Polzin, born in Hanover in 1976, studied law and worked in Switzerland and Cambodia, among other places. He later spent many years as a publishing editor before founding the literary agency textbaby in 2020. He is the author of »Laufrausch: Wie ein Paar Laufschuhe unverhofft mein Leben auf den Kopf stellte« and co-authored Jonas Deichmann’s »Das Limit bin nur ich: Wie ich als erster Mensch die Welt im Triathlon umrundete« and Savan Coban’s »Trail der Träume ... und Albträume: Mein Weltrekordlauf durch Peru«. Polzin has been a Sherlock Holmes fan since childhood.
