Sascha Michel

Sascha Michel (born 1970) is a literary scholar, author and editor. He worked as an editor of German-language literature at S. Fischer Verlag, where he was responsible among other things for the works of Ilse Aichinger, Alfred Döblin and Thomas Mann. From 2015 onward, he taught in the Book and Media Practice continuing-education program at Goethe University Frankfurt. His publications include the study *Ordnungen der Kontingenz. Figurationen der Unterbrechung in Erzähldiskursen um 1800* (2006), the anthologies *Texte zur Theorie der Literaturkritik* (2008) and *Glück. Ein philosophischer Streifzug* (2010), and the essay *Die Unruhe der Bücher*.
