Sandro Veronesi

Sandro Veronesi was born in Florence in 1959. The Italian writer received the Premio Strega in 2006 for his novel *Quiet Chaos* and again in 2020 for *The Hummingbird*. *Quiet Chaos* was later adapted for film by Nanni Moretti. Veronesi co-wrote *Comandante* with film director Edoardo De Angelis.
