Sally Nicholls

Sally Nicholls, born in 1983 in Stockton, England, is an English author of children’s and young adult fiction. She studied philosophy and literature. At the age of 23, she wrote her debut novel, *Ways to Live Forever*, in a writing workshop. Published in 2008, the book won the Waterstones Children’s Book Prize, was translated into numerous languages and adapted for film. Her other works include *Season of Secrets*, *An Island of Our Own* and *The Silent War*.
