Sabine Bode

Sabine Bode (born 1947) is a German journalist and author. She began her career as an editor at the Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger and later worked as a freelance journalist, including for the cultural departments of WDR and NDR radio. She became known for nonfiction books about the psychological effects of war and the postwar period on the generations of war children and war grandchildren. Her publications include Die vergessene Generation – Die Kriegskinder brechen ihr Schweigen (2004), Nachkriegskinder, Kriegsenkel, and Kriegsspuren.
